1、Summary: With such distinguishing features as information sharing, knowledge explosion, and technological innovation, the era of the New Economy gives rise to an increasingly competitive environment that demands improved management and enhanced competence of modern enterprises. When geographical and spatial location have ceased to be a barrier, and when the earth is turning into a village, we have totally entered the era of the New Economy. The New Economy emerged in the US, but it has pushed its way into every corner of the earth. Opinions from academic circles differ as to how to define the New Economy. Generally speaking, the era of the New Economy covers the following three: the information era with Internet expansion and information sharing as its mainstay, the innovation era marked by a shift from the traditional mode of management and operation to the new one, and the knowledge era featuring knowledge-driven economic growth.。
